Which suite is right for your business?

Use these scenarios to help decide.

Your team relies heavily on Excel

Microsoft 365

Excel's power for finance, modelling and data analysis is unmatched. If spreadsheets drive your business, Microsoft 365 wins comfortably.

You need Cyber Essentials or compliance controls

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 Business Premium includes the security and compliance tooling (Defender, DLP, Conditional Access) that makes certification far easier.

You already use Microsoft Teams

Microsoft 365

Teams is deeply integrated across M365 — chat, meetings, files and even a phone system all live in one place.

Your team is fully cloud-native and browser-based

Google Workspace

If nobody installs desktop apps and real-time co-editing is your default, Google Workspace is fast, simple and a natural fit.

You want the simplest possible admin

Google Workspace

Google's admin console is cleaner and lighter to manage for very small teams without dedicated IT.

You handle client data under UK GDPR

Microsoft 365

Microsoft Purview and granular data controls give regulated businesses the audit trail and governance they need.

Our honest take

For most UK SMBs we work with, Microsoft 365is the stronger choice — the full desktop apps, Excel's power, Teams, and the security and compliance tooling in Business Premium make it the safer long-term bet, especially for regulated sectors like accountancy, legal and finance.

That said, Google Workspace is a genuinely excellent fit for cloud-native teams who live in the browser and value simplicity and real-time collaboration above all. Whichever you choose, we handle the licensing, setup, security hardening and a zero-downtime migration — so the change is seamless for your team.

Not sure which is right for you?

We'll review how your team works and recommend the best fit — then handle the licensing, setup and migration with no downtime. Free, no obligation.
