What data we collect

We collect personal data when you:

• Submit our contact or quote request form (name, email, phone, company name)
• Submit a careers application (name, email, phone, CV)
• Use our free tools — no personal data is collected; files are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded to our servers
• Visit our website — if you accept analytics, we record which pages you view and store a random identifier in your browser so those views can be grouped into one visit. If you later submit a form, that identifier is stored alongside your enquiry, which means we can see which pages you read before contacting us. Choose “Essential only” and none of this is recorded.

How we use your data

We use your data to respond to enquiries, process job applications, and improve our services. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for unsolicited marketing without your consent.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, where applicable, consent. For job applications, data is processed under the basis of taking steps prior to entering a contract.

How long we keep your data

Contact enquiries are retained for up to 2 years from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Job applications are retained for 6 months unless you become a client or employee. Page-view records are retained indefinitely; those belonging to an enquiry are deleted with it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@graphiteit.com.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, and we never share your data with advertisers.

Nothing beyond what the site needs to function is stored until you accept analytics on the banner. If you do, we set Google Analytics cookies and store a random visit identifier in your browser's local storage. If you choose “Essential only”, neither is set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Third parties

We use Vercel for hosting and analytics, Neon for our database, Resend to deliver email, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics. No data is shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
